I officially started business February 1st, 2008.  I am a Washington, DC native, though I do currently live happily in Northern Virginia.  As with most people with any type of degree, mine are mostly in computers and business management but find that having a creative outlet is incredibly important to me, it is healing, and it does help give me some of the balance that I want in my life.  In terms of exercise, I feel the greatest joy I have is walking and allowing myself to see the beautiful and peaceful walking paths of Falls Church, Virginia and Arlington, VA.  

For my material/pallet, I do love to work with glass beads, fresh water pearls and stones that have a long life.  I've been designing and hand making jewelry for somewhere around 20 years.  I have some awards for my jewelry designs but also know that sometimes you just want something fun and uncomplicated.

I love creating something beautiful.  My inspirations are people so I try to make jewelry based on people.  I am always stretching my skills and try to find more ways to do new things that create new forms of something beautiful.

And I love making jewelry that makes people smile but is not does not overshadow the wearer of the jewelry.  Great jewelry should enhance an outfit, create a mood or look, to give you energy, make you feel like the special person that you know you are inside.  For me jewelry is a great way to feel good and feel great about yourself.
